Title : Assistant Product Manager /Electrical
Qualifications
• Age : Between 26/35
• Sex : Male or Female
• Education : BEE or BBA
• Experience : 5 years in related field
(Construction, trade of electrical material etc)
• Language : English is a must/French is a plus
• Computer Literacy : Microsoft windows + Office outlook
Job Description:
_ Manage the marketing mix, namely:
Product : • Propose & help sourcing out new products
• Evaluate product testing and recommend whether to terminate, modify or begin campaign
• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Acquire excellent knowledge of product
Price : • Provide information in cooperation with marketing research department with regards to price
• Recommending pricing structure and benefit changes by market segment/ Setting appropriate price level
Place: • Select sales channel(s)
Promotion :
• Define product release requirements
• Analyze statistics and recommendations from Sales team to allocate funding for advertising and promotion campaigns
• Decide the appropriate promotional material and or sales promotion.
People : • Serve as the internal and external tutor for the product offering
• Train sales people about product & keep on updating their knowledge
• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
Identifying business needs and evaluating alternatives, recommending solutions and participating in their implementation.
Define target market, its size and set desired market share.
Understanding market problems and finding innovative solutions for the broader market.
Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Developing and implementing annual Marketing Plan (if necessary) to be presented to supplier and sales team.
Work with advertising agency to create an image of the brand in the minds of customers as having the attributes that they want.
Develop sales and profitability forecasts and marketing budgets with Finance Department.
Coordinate with Department manager, setting monthly / yearly budget per each sales representative.
Follow up of budget achievement on monthly / yearly basis. Evidence of success includes product revenue, references, and case studies.
Define, analyze and follow-up competition.
Observe stock level to suggest new order(s) and / or liquidate undesired stock.
Handle correspondence with suppliers & price negotiation.
Follow up with consultants (when applicable).
Develop local marketing/sales engagement plan with Partners in core markets.
